National Service Scheme (NSS)

Work done under the National Service Scheme Unit is as follows.

The University has been allocated 50 volunteers in the National Service Scheme Balak Unit of the Govt. Arts, Science & Commerce College Dharamjaigarh Chhattisgarh and 25 volunteers in the Girls Unit.
College Program Officer Mr. S.B. Lakra, Mr. Dr. V K Sahu, and Prof. Ram Sai Binjhwar is the Principal Trained Program Officer.
The rally, street plays, de-addiction oaths, combustion of alcohol and tobacco products, etc. were organized by the volunteers of the Rashtriya Seva Yojana for de-addiction programs.
In the cleaning of the pond of the village, shramdan was done and cleaning of the pond and the temporary platform was constructed.
Beautification was done with plantation around the pond and plantation near the pond and construction of a safety ring.
Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, two films were shown (toilet - Ek Prem Katha and Pedmen) by cleaning sanitation awareness and shramdaan.
Under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign, street plays and door-to-door village connectivity programs were organized for public awareness.
Vaccination For the health survey of the disease, the Gram Sampark Gram Survey was done by the volunteers of the National Service Scheme.
The public awareness campaign was launched to boycott plastic products and to make a plastic-free village pledge and boycott plastic products.
Polling awareness and public awareness programs were organized for complete voting.
A blood donation camp was organized in the college as well as a nutrition campaign.
